Many face financial challenges, with 13.3% living below the low-income measure (Canadian Survey on Disability, 2017) and 1 in 5 food bank users in Canada were seniors.
Help & Feed, powered by Saidham Food Bank, is committed to supporting these individuals with food assistance and essential services.
Since 2012, Help & Feed’s Seniors & Disabled Grocery Delivery Program has supported 3,241 seniors with culturally and medically appropriate grocery hampers delivered directly to their doorsteps – ensuring that vulnerable seniors and disabled individuals across the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA) receive the nutritious food they deserve.
