Responsibilities:

• Building digital products like websites, microsites, web applications, interactive visualizations and apps for a broad range of clients.
• Maintaining code from planning to building through testing, deployment and updates.
• Delivering either just the front end or the CMS portion of a project in collaboration with another developer, or delivering the whole project.
• Working closely with UX and creative directors, designers, developers, and other specialists to estimate and deliver projects

Expectations:

• Design, develop, and maintain the food bank’s website, ensuring it is visually appealing, user-friendly, and responsive across different devices.
  
• Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to implement updates, add new features, and optimize website performance.
• Create a secure and efficient online donation portal that allows donors to contribute to the food bank easily.
• Ensure the website is accessible to all users, including those with disabilities, by adhering to web accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Create a multilingual option if necessary to cater to a diverse audience within the food bank’s community.”
