Throughout this impactful event, our mission is to tackle hunger and ensure that no one in our community goes without a meal. Together, we aim to collect essential food items and raise funds for local food banks in GTA, providing much-needed support to those facing food insecurity during these challenging times. By combining our efforts, we aspire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of families in need, including children, seniors, and individuals from all walks of life. Independence Day Food Drive - August 15th, 2023 The Indians in Canada Association is joyfully celebrating the 15th of August 2023, Tuesday, in honor of Indian Independence Day, in collaboration with Sai Dham Food Bank. As part of this special occasion, we have partnered with Sai Dham Food Bank, one of Canada's largest food banks, to sponsor and take care of groceries that will be distributed throughout the entire Peel region on Tuesday, 15th August. This initiative is made possible by the generous contributions of the Indo-Canadian diaspora. We anticipate delivering around 500 Grocery Kits on that day, with each kit costing $101. If you wish to be a part of this noble charity drive, we welcome your participation and support.
