Independence Day Food Drive – August 15th, 2023

The Indians in Canada Association is joyfully celebrating the 15th of August 2023, Tuesday, in honor of Indian Independence Day, in collaboration with Sai Dham Food Bank. As part of this special occasion, we have partnered with Sai Dham Food Bank, one of Canada’s largest food banks, to sponsor and take care of groceries that will be distributed throughout the entire Peel region on Tuesday, 15th August. This initiative is made possible by the generous contributions of the Indo-Canadian diaspora.

• We anticipate delivering around 500 Grocery Kits on that day, with each kit costing $101. If you wish to be a part of this noble charity drive, we welcome your participation and support.

• The program will commence at 1 PM, with the celebration starting at 1:30 PM, including the singing of O’Canada and the Indian National Anthem in the presence of esteemed community members, leaders, and dignitaries. Additionally, a tour of Sai Dham Food Bank will be available on this occasion.
