Sai Dham Food Bank, a prominent organization dedicated to fighting hunger, recently hosted the inaugural International Seniors Food Bank Day on June 17. The event aimed to raise awareness about senior hunger and provide practical solutions to address this critical issue. With the support of dedicated volunteers, esteemed guests, and the community, Sai Dham Food Bank successfully raised $25,000 CAD to combat senior hunger and expand resources to better serve older adults in need.

The event witnessed the active participation of close to 50 seniors supported by Sai Dham Food Bank, along with a total of 150 attendees. Through various activities and initiatives, the community came together to learn about senior hunger and contribute to the cause.

– Presence and participation of esteemed guests and community leaders, including Honorable Dr Asha Seth, Anna Roberts, Nina Tangri, Deepak Anand, Effie Triantafilopoulos, Satish Thakkar, Murarilal Thapliyal, and others.

– Overwhelming financial support from individuals and organizations, raising $25,000 CAD to provide nutritious meals and support to older adults in need.
